• Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2006 <br /> TRACY MARINE SALES <br /> 2353 Toste Road,Tracy, California <br /> 1 0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Joe Toste, Jr, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 2353 Toste Road, Tracy, California The site and the <br /> surrounding area are illustrated on Figure I On-site structures, soil borings, and monitoring well <br /> locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is summarized in Appendix A <br /> 20. PROCEDURES <br /> Eleven ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-11) were purged and sampled on <br /> 14 March 2006 and an ozone-injection air-sparging system continually operated over the first quarter <br /> 2006 Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage <br /> tank (UST) sites <br /> {� 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 14 March 2006, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> wells MW-I through MW-I 1 relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations <br /> and gradient were determined from these measurements(Table 1) Additionally,a Hanna Instruments <br /> (HI) 9025 water analyzer was used to measure the oxidation-reduction potential in the monitoring <br /> well network throughout the first quarter 2006 Dissolved oxygen and ORP field logs are included <br /> in Appendix B <br /> After recording water level measurements,disposable plastic bailers were used to purge wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-I I of standing water Approximately 4 5 to 6 gallons of water (a minimum of three <br /> casing-water volumes perwell)were removed from wells MW-1 through MW-5,MW-7,and MW-9, <br /> through MW-11 and approximately 12 gallons of water were removed from MW-6 Approximately <br /> 2 gallons of water were removed from well MW-8 before the well was bailed dry Ground water <br /> temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton <br /> water analyzer Field sheets and data are included in Appendix C Purged water was stored on-site <br /> in labeled, 55-gallon Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved drums <br /> 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from the purged wells using the dedicated disposable plastic bailers <br /> after allowing the wells to achieve a minimum 80% recovery of the pre-purge water volume Each <br /> .
