' 21 November 2005
AGE-NC Project No 96-0263
' 3 1 REDOX POTENTIAL AND DISSOLVED OXYGEN MEASUREMENTS
Based on eight monthly monitoring events between August 2004 and May 2005,ORP measurements
' fluctuated between -24 4 millivolts (mV) in well MW-7 and 176 0 mV in well MW-10 Dissolved
Oxygen measurements ranged from 0 17 mg/l in well MW-4 to 5 44 mg/l in well MW-6 ORP and
DO measurements are provided in Table 1
3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
' TPH-g, BTEX and MTBE were detected in ground water sample collected from wells MW-1,
MW-2,MW-4,MW-5 and MW-7 during the June 2004,August 2004 and November 2005 sampling
events TPH-g was detected in the samples collected from wells MW-2 and MW-7 during the March
2005 sampling event, and MTBE was detected in wells MW-2,MW-3 and MW-7 during the March
2005 sampling event No analytes were detected from well MW-5 during the March 2005 sampling
' event
. TPH-g and MTBE were detected at maximum concentrations of 44,000 micrograms per liter(µg/1)
and 43,000µg/1, respectively in the samples collected from well MW-7 during the August 2004
sampling event Analytical results of MTBE from June 2004 to March 2005 are included in Table 2
' Analytical results of historical ground water samples are presented in Table 3
' 4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the findings from this investigation, AGE concludes
' ORP measurements ranged between-24 4 millivolts(mV)in well MW-7 and 176 mV in well
MW-10 during monthly monitoring events conducted between June 2004 and March 2005
No distinct oxidation trends were observed (Figure 3), because the ozone system did not
operate continuously between June 2004 and December 2004
• Dissolved Oxygen measurements ranged from 0 17 mg/l in well MW-4 to 5 44 mg/1 in well
MW-6 No distinct DO trends were observed (Figure 4), because the ozone system did not
operate continuously between June 2004 and December 2004
• Concentrations of TPH-g and BTEX compounds have decreased over the past nine months
in wells MW-2,MW-4,MW-5 and MW-7 TPH-g and benzene have decreased to non detect
in wells MW-4 an MW-5
Advanced GeoEnv=ronmental,Inc
I
