i <br /> A <br /> Mr.William Rauch <br /> April 30. 1996 <br /> Page 5 <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> Soil encountered in borings between the surface and 9 feet below grade in soil borings SB-1 and SB- <br /> 2 consist of dark olive brown, moist,moderately plastic-silty clay. Ground water was encountered <br /> at a depth of approximately 9 feet below grade. <br /> Petroleum staining was not observed in any of the soil samples recovered. Laboratory analyses of <br /> collected soil and ground water samples indicate that neither TPHg, BTEX, nor organochlorine <br /> pesticides were present at detectable concentrations. The lack of' staining and detectable <br /> concentrations of petroleum constituents and organochlorine pesticides indicate that soil and ground <br /> water conditions at the two locations explored do not warrant additional delineation or remediation. <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> The conclusions presented in this report are professional opinions based solely upon the Scope of <br /> Services described in this report. They are intended exclusively for the use of Wells Fargo Bank or <br /> agents specified by Wells Fargo Bank. The Scope of Services performed in the execution of this <br /> investigation may not be appropriate to satisfy the needs of other users, and any re-use of this <br /> document or the findings, conclusions, or recommendations presented herein is at the sole risk of <br /> if said user. It should be recognized that his study was not intended to be a definitive investigation of <br /> contamination at the subject Property. Therefore, PEM cannot act <br /> as insurers and cannot"certify"that a site is free of environmental contamination.
