1 Multi-Level Monitoring Well Installation Report - First Quarter 2003 <br /> • THREE B'S TRUCK PLAZA <br />' 14749 Thornton Road, Lodi, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this ground water monitoring well <br />' installation report for 14749 Thornton Road (site), Lodi, California, In accordance with guidelines <br /> Issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB)-Central Valley Region <br />' for Investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites The report documents procedures and <br /> results for Installation of multi-level ground water monitoring wells at the site during January, <br /> February and March 2003 The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1, general features at the <br />' site are Illustrated in Figure 2 A summary of previous Investigations at the site was Included in the <br /> AGE-prepared Preliminary Site Investigation and Evaluation Report - November 1996, dated <br /> 20 June 1997 <br />' The scope of work of this investigation Included Installation of six multi-level ground water <br /> monitoring wells(MW-7 through MW-12)with the objective of assessing the impact of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons to ground water Based on soil data collected from previous cone penetrometer testing <br /> (CPT)results and comparison with soil descriptions from borings previously advanced on the site, <br /> AGE has developed a preliminary subsurface model of the site soil stratigraphy comprised of six <br /> hydrologic informal zones (Figures 3 and 4) The multi-level wells were screened at depths of <br /> between 15 and 25 feet bsg(Hydrologic Unit 1),40 and 45 feet bsg(Hydrologic Unit 2), 70 and 75 <br /> feet bsg (Hydrologic Unit 3), 95 and 100 feet bsg (Hydrologic Unit 4), 120 and 125 feet bsg <br />' (Hydrologic Unit S) and between 145 and 150 feet bsg(Hydrologic Unit 6) <br /> The following is a brief summary of events for the January, February and March 2003 well <br /> Installation activities performed at the site <br /> • 28 January 2003-Soil boring for MW-7 advanced to 150 feet below surface grade(bsg),soil <br /> samples not collected during drilling, boring completed as multi-level monitoring well <br /> MW-7 (A - E) <br /> • 29 January 2003 -Soil boring far MW-8 advanced to 150 feet bsg,soil samples not collected <br /> during drilling, boring completed as multi-level monitoring well MW-8 (A - F) <br /> • 31 January2003-Soil boring for MW-9 advanced to 150 feet bsg,soil samples not collected <br /> during drilling, boring completed as multi-level monitoring well MW-9 (A - E) <br /> 03 February 2003 - Soil boring for MW-10 advanced to 150 feet bsg, soil samples not <br /> Icollected during drilling, boring completed as multi-level monitoring well MW-10(A-F) <br /> • 04 February 2003 - Soil boring for MW-11 advanced to 150 feet bsg, soil samples not <br /> I collected during drilling,boring completed as multi-level monitoring well MW-11 (A-F) <br /> • 05 February 2003 - Soil boring MW-12 advanced to 150 feet bsg, soil samples not collected <br /> during drilling, boring completed as multi-level monitoring well MW-12 (A - F) <br /> Advanced CeoEnvironmentak,Inc <br /> I <br />
