r <br /> 02 May 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0249 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> Grab ground water samples will be collected in intervals of porous and permeable material Selected <br /> ground water samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline, diesel and motor oil(TPH-g, TPH-d <br /> and TPH-mo, respectively) by EPA Methods 3550/5030/8015M, <br /> • Volatile aromatic compounds - benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) with <br /> metyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) by EPA Method 8020, <br /> • Methanol, ethanol, ethylene dibromide (EDB), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), tertiary <br /> butanol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tert butyl ether (ETBE), tert amyl methyl <br /> ether(TAME), and confirmation. of MTBE by EPA Method 8260 Modified, and <br /> • Total lead by EPA Method 6010/200 7/239 2 <br /> Laboratory reports for ground water analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality <br /> control (QA/QC)reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report <br /> with findings and recommendations <br /> Additional ground monitoring wells will be proposed based on the results of the CPT drilling and <br /> grab ground water sample analysis <br /> 33 REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Following CPT boring advancement and analysis of grab ground water samples, a report of findings <br /> will be prepared The report will include a description of work performed and the results of the <br /> groundwater sampling and analysis Conclusions and recommendations will also be included in the <br /> reports, if applicable The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and the RWQCB, <br /> and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist <br /> 4.0.
