7i0� <br /> I <br /> 31 May 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 97-0249 <br /> IPage 3 of 5 <br /> elevation data for MW-1 through MW-6 during the November 1999 ground water monitoring event <br /> is depicted in Figure 3 <br /> Ground water flow direction for the area bound by wells MW-1 through MW-6 was generally toward <br /> east-southeast to east-northeast at a gradient of 0 003 ft/ft, or approximately 16 feet per mile (Figure <br /> I 3) <br /> 3 2 LABORATORY RESULTS OF MONITORING WELL GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> A total of six ground water samples were submitted to a DHS-certified laboratory in February 2000 <br />' TPH-g was detected in water samples collected from wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3 and MW-6 at <br /> concentrations ranging up to 44,000 micrograms per liter (µg/1), TPH-d was detected in water <br /> samples collected from wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4 and MW-6 at concentrations ranging <br /> I up to 3,800 ug/l, however, the laboratory reported that the diesel chromatograms from MW-1, <br /> MW-2,MW-3 and MW-6 either lacked typical diesel characteristics,having significant lighter range <br /> gasoline compounds or having significant unmodified or weakly modified gasoline <br /> BTEX compounds were detected in ground water samples collected from wells MW-1, MW-2, <br /> MW-3, MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 at concentrations ranging as high as 8,100 4g/1 (benzene, MW-3) <br /> MTBE was detected inound water les collected from wells MW-1,MW-2,MW-4 and MW-6 <br /> �' samples <br /> at concentrations as high as 49 µg/1 TBA was detected for the first time in a ground water sample <br /> collected from MW-1 at a concentration of 44 µg/l No other fuel oxygenates were detected in any <br /> other analyzed ground water samples above the respected laboratory reporting limits <br /> Analytical results of the ground water samples are summarized in Table 2 The laboratory reports <br /> (Castle Analytical Laboratories Reference No 2584 and McCampbell Analytical Inc I D No 31896 <br /> through 31902) and chain-of-custody forms are presented in Appendix B <br /> 33 LABORATORY RESULTS OF DOMESTIC WATER WELL SAMPLES <br /> Grab water samples were collected from the Three B's domestic water well on 25 February and on <br /> 28 March 2000 None of the analyzed constituents were detected above their respected laboratory <br /> reporting limits Analytical results of the ground water samples are summarized in Table 2 The <br /> laboratory reports (Castle Analytical Laboratories Reference No 2584 and McCampbell Analytical <br /> Inc I D No 31896 through 31902) and chain-of-custody forms are presented in Appendix B <br /> I <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmeniai,Inc <br />
