Site Assessment Report - August 1995 <br /> THREE B'S TRUCK PLAZA <br />' 14749 North Thornton Road, Lodi, California <br />' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Andy Zarakani of Three B's Truck Plaza,Advanced GeoEnvironrnental, Inc <br />' (AGE) has prepared this Site Assessment Report for 14749 North Thornton Road (site), Lodi, <br /> California The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1, general features at the site are illustrated <br />' in Figure 2 <br /> The scope of work of this investigation included advancement of five soil probe borings and <br /> collecting soil samples for laboratory analysis with the objective of assessing subsurface impact of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and by <br /> the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for investigation of underground storage <br /> tank(UST) sites A summary of previous investigations at the site is included in the Prehtninary Site <br /> Assessinent Report, dated 05 November 1997. prepared by AGE <br /> 20 PROCEDURES <br /> E <br /> 2 1 DRILLING ACTIVITIES <br /> On 19 August 1998, five soil probe borings (P5 through P9) were advanced on-site as part of site <br /> assessment activities related to the existing USTs Soil probe borings P5 through P9 were advanced <br /> _ vertically to maximum depths of 30 feet bsg The probe borings were advanced utilizing a van- <br /> mounted Geoprobe 5400 equipped with 1 125-inch diameter probe rods with an attached 2 15-inch <br /> diameter soil sampler, using "direct push" technology Soil probe boiings P5 though P9 locations <br /> Iare depicted in Figure 2 <br /> 2 1 1 Soil Sample Collection <br /> Discrete soil samples were collected at 5-foot intervals,beginning at 5 foot bsg, to total depth of each <br /> boring Soil samples were collected using a Geoprobe soil sampling assembly loaded with four pre- <br /> cleaned 1 125-inch by 6-inch brass sleeves Soil samples NN ere preserved by covering both ends of <br /> the brass sleeve with Teflon sheets, capping, and sealing with tape Each sample sleeve was labeled <br /> with soil probe boring location, depth, time, date and sampler's initials <br /> I Each preserved sample was logged on a chain-of-custody form, placed in a chilled container and <br /> transported to a California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified laboratory, selected <br />. samples were analyzed in accordance with <br /> AdiuncedGcoEmironmcntai,Inc <br />
