INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for 14749 Thornton <br />' Road (the site), Lodi, California The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and <br /> monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> IThe objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground <br /> water and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site This report has been <br /> prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board - Central Valley Region (CRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites Ground water monitoring data acquired to date is included in the tables of this report <br /> IPrevious soil characteristics data obtained by a CPT investigation enabled AGE to define six <br /> informal hydrogeologic units(CPT Sate Investigation-Fourth Quarter 2001,dated 15 March 2002) <br /> I The informal hydrogeologic units were defined as Hydrologic Unit 1 (10-35 feet bsg), Hydrologic <br /> Unit 2 (35-60 feet bsg), Hydrologic Unit 3 (60-90 feet bsg), Hydrologic Unit 4 (90-110 feet bsg), <br /> Hydrologic Unit 5 (110 to 130 feet) and Hydrologic Unit 6 (130 to at least 150 feet bsg) <br />' The following is a brief summary of second quarter 2005 ground water monitoring activities <br /> performed at the site <br />' • 27 June 2005-Depth to water measurements were collected at wells MW-1 through MW-12, <br /> I • 27 June 2005 - Ground water monitoring was performed at wells MW-2, MW-3, MW-7 <br /> (A-E), MW-9 (A-E), MW-11 (A-F) and MW-12 (A-F), <br /> • 27 June 2005- Ground water monitoring performed at domestic water well DW-1, <br /> I • 28 June 2005- Ground water monitoring was performed at wells MW-1, MW-4 through <br /> MW-6, MW-8 (A-F) and MW-10 (A-F) <br /> I <br /> 2.0. MONITORING AND SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br /> On 27 & 28 June 2005, ground water monitoring was performed at the site at ground water <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-12 and domestic water well DW-1, monitoring well <br /> construction details are summarized in Table 1 Ground water monitoring procedures were outlined <br /> in the Work Plan Addendum-October 1998, dated 14 October 1998,prepared by AGE and approved <br /> I by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) by letter dated <br /> 21 December 1998 <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
