I <br />' Multi-Level Monitoring Well Installation Report - Third Quarter 2005 <br /> • THREE B'S TRUCK PLAZA <br />' 14749 Thornton Road, Lodi, California <br />' 1.0• INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this ground water monitoring well <br />' Installation report for 14749 Thornton Road (site), Lodz, California, in accordance with guidelines <br /> issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB)-Central Valley Region <br /> for investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites The report documents procedures and <br />' results for installation of three (3) multi-level ground water monitoring wells at the site during <br /> July 2005 The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1, general features at the site are Illustrated <br />' in Figure 2 A summary of previous investigations at the site was included in Work Plan Addendum- <br /> July 2002, dated 23 July 2002, prepared by AGE <br />' The scope of work of this investigation Included Installation of three (3) multi-level ground water <br /> monitoring wells(MW-13 through MW-15)with the objective of assessing the Impact of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons to ground water Based on soil data collected from previous cone penetrometer testing <br />' (CPT)results and comparison with soil descriptions from borings previously advanced on the site, <br /> AGE previously developed a preliminary subsurface model of the site soil stratigraphy comprised <br /> of six hydrologic Informal zones (Cone Penetrometer Testing Site Investigation -Fourth Quarter <br />' 2001,dated 15 March 2002) The multi-level wells were generally screened at depths of between 14 <br /> and 25 feet bsg (Hydrologic Unit 1), 39 and 45 feet bsg (Hydrologic Unit 2), 69 and 75 feet bsg <br /> (Hydrologic Unit 3),94 and 100 feet bsg(Hydrologic Unit 4), 119 and 125 feet bsg(Hydrologic Unit <br /> 5) and between 144 and 150 feet bsg (Hydrologic Unit 6) <br /> The following is a brief summary of events for the above referenced multi-level well installation <br /> activities performed at the site <br /> • 05-06 July 2005 - install 8-Inch diameter, steel conductor casings to 11 feet bsg for wells <br /> IMW-13 through MW-15 <br /> • 07-10 July 2005 - Soil boring for MW-15 advanced to 149 feet below surface grade (bsg), <br />' soil samples not collected during drilling, boring completed as multi-level monitoring well <br /> MW-15 (A - F) <br /> I • 11-13 July 2005 - Soil boring for MW-14 advanced to 150 feet bsg, soil samples not <br /> collected during drilling, boring completed as multi-level monitoring well MW-14 (A -F) <br /> • 14-15 July 2005 - Soil boring for MW-13 advanced to 149 feet bsg, soil samples not <br /> collected during drilling, boring completed as multi-level monitoring well MW-13 (A -F) <br /> • 15 and 19 July 2005 - Well development activities performed at wells MW-13 through <br /> MW-15 <br /> • <br /> Advanced Gco maronmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
