Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2004 <br /> THREE B'S TRUCK PLAZA <br /> 14749 Thornton Road, Lodi, California <br /> I1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for 14749 Thornton <br /> Road (the site), Lodi, California The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and <br /> monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground <br /> water and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site This report has been <br /> prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board - Central Valley Region (CRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites A summary of previous investigations at the site was included in the AGE-prepared Work Plan <br /> Addendum - July 2002, dated 23 July 2002, ground water monitoring data acquired to date is <br /> included in the tables of this report <br /> Previous soil characteristics data obtained by a CPT investigation enabled AGE to define six <br /> informal hydrogeologic units(CPT Sate Investigation-Fourth Quarter 2001,dated 15 March 2002) <br /> The informal hydrogeologic units were defined as Hydrologic Unit 1 (10-35 feet bsg), Hydrologic <br /> Unit 2 (35-60 feet bsg), Hydrologic Unit 3 (60-90 feet bsg), Hydrologic Unit 4 (90-110 feet bsg), <br /> Hydrologic Unit 5 (110 to 130 feet) and Hydrologic Unit 6 (130 to at least 150 feet bsg) <br /> I The following is a brief summary of second quarter 2004 ground water monitoring activities <br /> performed at the site <br /> • 14 June 2004-Depth to water measurements were collected at wells MW-1 through MW-12, <br /> • 15 June 2004 - Ground water monitoring was performed at wells MW-6, MW-9 (A-E), <br /> MW-11 (A-F), MW-12 (A-F) and DW-1, <br /> • 16 June 2004- Ground water monitoring was performed at wells MW-1 through MW-5, <br /> MW-7 (A-E), MW-8 (A-F) and MW-10 (A-F) <br /> 2.0. MONITORING AND SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br /> I On 14, 15 and 16 June 2004, ground water monitoring was performed at the site for ground water <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-12, monitoring well construction details are summarized in <br /> Tablel. Groundwater monitoring procedures were outlined in the Work Plan Addendum - October <br /> 1998, dated 14 October 1998, prepared by AGE and approved by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) by letter dated 21 December 1998 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvlronmental,Inc <br />
