INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for 14749 Thornton <br /> Road (the site), Lodi, California The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and <br /> monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground <br /> water and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site This report has been <br /> prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board - Central Valley Region (CRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites A summary of previous investigations at the site was included in Work Plan Addendum -July <br /> 2002, dated 23 July 2002, prepared by AGE, ground water monitoring data acquired to date is <br /> included in the tables of this report <br /> Previous soil characteristics data obtained by a CPT investigation enabled AGE to define six <br /> informal hydrogeologic units(CPTSitelnvestigation-Fourth Quarter 2001,dated 15 March 2002) <br /> The informal hydrogeologic units were defined as Hydrologic Unit 1 (10-35 feet bsg), Hydrologic <br /> Unit 2 (35-60 feet bsg), Hydrologic Unit 3 (60-90 feet bsg), Hydrologic Unit 4 (90-110 feet bsg), <br /> I. Hydrologic Unit 5 (110 to 130 feet) and Hydrologic Unit 6 (130 to at least 150 feet bsg) <br /> The following is a brief summary of fourth quarter site assessment activities performed at the site <br /> IC 15 March 2004 - Depth to water measurements collected at wells MW-1 through MW-12, <br /> ground water monitoring performed at wells MW-7 (A-E) and MW-12 (A-F), <br /> • 16 March 2004 - Ground water monitoring performed at wells MW-8 (A-F), MW-9 (A-E) <br /> and MW-11 (A-F), <br /> I • 17 March 2004- Ground water monitoring performed at wells MW-1 through MW-6 and <br /> MW-10 (A-F) <br /> I <br /> 2.0. MONITORING AND SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br /> On 15, 16 and 17 March 2004,ground water monitoring was performed at the site on ground water <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-12, monitoring well construction details are summarized in <br /> I Table 1 Ground water monitoring procedures were outlined in Work Plan Addendum - October <br /> 1998, dated 14 October 1998, prepared by AGE and approved by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD) by letter dated 21 December 1998 <br /> IAt the request of the CRWQCB, ground water monitoring events performed at the Three B's Truck <br /> Plaza site and the Flag City Chevron site (6421 Capitol Avenue) have been coordinated to occur <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc <br />
