Mr. Knoll :
This letter prepared by Stantec Consulting Company (Stantec) on behalf of ConocoPhillips, documents the
disposal of drilling derived soil generated during the drilling and installation of oxygen injection wells (OS-1
through OS-8). Soil cuttings generated during the site assessment activities were stored in 28 Department of
Transportation (DOT) approved 55-gallon capacity steel drums. Decontamination water generated during the
site activities was stored in 8 DOT approved drums . The drums were staged onsite pending laboratory
characterization as non-hazardous waste. Belshire Environmental Services (Belshire) of Foothill Ranch,
California transported the drums of soil cuttings to the TPST soil Recyclers of California licensed landfill
facility in Adelanto, California and the drums of decontamination water to Demenno Kerdoon in Compton,
California for disposal . The waste disposal manifests are included in Attachment 1 .
If there are any questions or comments regarding the contents of this document, please contact me at (916)
861 -0400 ext. 262 .
Sincerely,
STANTECCCONSULTING CORPORATION
I ` V -
Amber V.
