(SECOR) requests that the deadline for <br /> submitting the results of an off-site assessment at the site referenced above (Figures 1 and 2) be <br /> extended from the originally requested deadline of September 1 , 2003 as stated in your June 24, <br /> 2003 letter, to October 31 , 2003. SECOR submitted an encroachment permit application on August <br /> 1 , 2003 following the receipt of performance bonds for the proposed off-site wells for the revocable <br /> permit, and confirmed with Mr. Reed Campbell at the City of Stockton, Public Works Department <br /> (CSPWD) on August 15, 2003 that the permit application has not been reviewed as of that date. <br /> Once the encroachment permit is obtained, the SECOR will submit a permit application package <br /> including the encroachment permit as required by San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (SJCEHD)- Once the SJCEHD permit has been issued, SECOR will schedule the work. <br /> As referenced in SECOR's April 14, 2003 Work Plan for Additional Assessment, additional <br /> assessment activities will include the installation of one on-site deep well (MW-8) and one off-site <br /> deep well (SW- 1 ) located in the City of Stockton right-of-way that will act as a sentry well for <br /> monitoring groundwater quality upgradient from City of Stockton municipal well #3. As requested in <br /> the SJCEHD letter dated June 24, 2003, a third deep well (MI will be installed downgradient of <br /> the site in the City of Stockton right-of-way.
