Following installation, the <br /> monitoring wells will be developed by rigorously surging the wells over the length of <br /> the screen interval and by purging approximately 10 casing volumes of water After <br /> well development, groundwater samples will be collected and sent under standard <br /> chain-of-custody procedures to a California State-certified laboratory The <br /> groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHg and methanol using modified EPA <br /> Method 8015, BTEX by EPA Method 8020, and MtBE, TBA, 1-2 DCA, DIPE, EtBE, <br /> TAME, EDB, and ethanol by EPA Method 8260 <br /> • Well Surveying and Groundwater Gradient Interpretation. A state-licensed <br /> surveyor will survey the newly installed wells Depth to groundwater measurements <br /> will be collected during sampling activities and utilized for interpretation of <br /> groundwater flow and gradient beneath the site <br /> • Slug Tests. Slug tests will be performed on a minimum of three monitoring wells at <br /> the site to derive values for transmissivity (T) and hydraulic conductivity (K) <br /> • Report. A report will be prepared after completion of necessary fieldwork The <br /> report will include soil boring logs, soil and groundwater analytical results, chain-of- <br /> custody documentation, groundwater gradient map, and conclusions <br /> iField and laboratory procedures are presented in Attachment B <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> SECOR is prepared to initiate fieldwork within 4 weeks following approval of this work plan <br /> by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department and issuance of permits by the <br /> City of Stockton and San Joaquin County A report documenting the findings of the well <br /> installation and possible CPT borings is anticipated to be submitted approximately 8 to 10 <br /> weeks after the completion of the field work and upon receipt of all analytical data <br /> If there are any questions regarding the contents of this site assessment report or work plan, <br /> please call Bill Brasher of SECOR at (916) 861-0400 extension 284 or Bob Cochran of <br /> Chevron at (925) 842-9655 <br /> Sincerely, I <br /> SECOR,International Incorporated <br /> .
