The work to be done and referred to herein is in the City of Tracy, County of San �• Joaquin, State of California, and shall be constructed in accordance with the Special Provisions of these Specifications (including the payment of not less than the minimum wage rates set forth therein) and the Contract annexed hereto and also in accordance v with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, "Greenbook", 1994 Edition, and as amended by the City of Tracy Standard Plans or Specifications (including any updating amendments), the labor surcharge and equipment rental rates in ,r effect on the date the work is accomplished and the latest issue of the General Prevailing Wage Rates. The work to be done is shown upon the plans and Special Provisions. The bidder shall set forth for each unit basis item of work a unit price and a total for the item, and for each lump sum item a total for the item, all in clearly legible figures in the respective spaces provided for this purpose. In the case of a discrepancy for the unit price between the written words and the figures in the "Total" column, the written words shall prevail. In case of a discrepancy between the unit price figures in the "Total" column and the sum of those amounts set forth in the "Total Bid Price", the amounts indicated in the "Total" column shall prevail, and the amount shown as the "Total Bid Price" shall be adjusted accordingly. Lo If this bid shall be accepted by the City and the undersigned shall fail to enter into the contract after the bidder has received notice from the City that the contract has been awarded, the City may, at its option, determine that the bidder has breached the contract, and thereupon, the bid security shall be forfeited to the City.
