(Delta), is presenting an addendum to the "Proposed Work Plan
for Pretank Closure Site Assessment." Soil samples taken during the investigative borings indicate the
possibility of ground water being impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons.
Delta proposes the drilling and installation of three monitoring wells in order to assess ground water
gradient and quality at the site. Enclosed is a site map indicating the proposed locations for the
three monitoring wells. These wells will be used to assess ground water quality and hydrogeologic
parameters to aid in the design of the system required for dewatering the new tank excavation during
new tank installation.
We would like to complete this work as soon as possible, and I have tentatively scheduled the work
to be done on September 9; 1989, if approval has been received from your office.. -
If you have any questions concerning this project, please do not hesitate to call me at (916) 638-2085.
Sincerely,
DELTA NVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS, INC.
Paul C.
