P_R'Et^,i TNAR .lt'?POT AND TANK CLOSME REPOVI <br /> Trtcy BQulo=yard Shell <br /> 3725 Tracy Boulevard,Tracy,California <br /> Delta Project No.44.89.012 <br /> Page 17 <br /> — 7.4 CONCLUSIONS <br /> The following conclusions have been made based upon the results obtained from the pretank closure and <br /> subsequent tank closure activities: <br /> _.. a Petroleum hydrocarbons in scil at the site have been removed from the surface to a depth of <br /> approximately 9 feet be,ow the ground surface. <br /> s Light petroleum distillate or Stoddard solvent has been identified in soil at the soillground water <br /> table interface beneath the eastern portion of the site. <br /> o Petroleum hydrocarbons were identified in a ground water sampiP collected from the former tank <br /> excavation during tank closure. <br /> BTI X and WHwere not detected in ground water samples collected froin three site monitoring <br /> wells on September 26,1989. These wells were destroyed during station reconstruction activities. <br /> •. BTEX and J?I-I were not detected in ground water samples collected from three replacement <br /> monitoring wells on august 28, 199f). . <br />
