MONITORING AND REPORTINGOGRAM NO. 5-00-142 -4 - <br /> CITY <br /> 4 -CITY OF ESCALON <br /> WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Sampling Reporting <br /> Constituents Units Type of Sample Frequency Frequency <br /> Chloride mg/l Grab Quarterly Quarterly <br /> PH pH units Grab Quarterly Quarterly <br /> Standard Minerals 2 mg/l Grab Annually Annually <br /> BODS denotes five-day, 20° Celsius Biochemical Oxygen Demand. <br /> 2 Standard Minerals shall include the following compounds: Barium, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, <br /> Potassium, Chloride, Sulfate, Total Alkalinity(including alkalinity series), and Hardness. Sample <br /> shall be collected in Third Quarter of year. <br /> REPORTING <br /> In reporting monitoring data, the Discharger shall arrange the data in tabular form so that the date, <br /> sample type (e.g., effluent, pond, groundwater well, etc.), and reported analytical result for each sample <br /> are readily discernible. The data shall be summarized in such a manner to clearly illustrate compliance <br /> with waste discharge requirements and spatial or temporal trends, as applicable. The results of any <br /> monitoring done more frequently than required at the locations specified in the Monitoring and <br /> Reporting Program shall be reported in the next scheduled monitoring report. The results of all <br /> monitoring performed by the industrial dischargers, or other parties, which are reported to the <br /> Discharger, shall be included in the next regularly scheduled monitoring report. <br /> As required by the California Business and Professions Code Sections 6735, 7835, and 7835.1, all <br /> groundwater monitoring reports shall be prepared under the direct supervision of a registered <br /> professional engineer or geologist and signed by the registered professional. <br /> A. Monthly Monitoring Reports <br /> Monthly reports for industrial wastewater ponds shall be submitted to the Regional Board by <br /> the 1"day of the second month following sampling (i.e. the January Report is due by <br /> 1 March). Monthly reports for the months of March, June, September, and December may be <br /> submitted as part of the Quarterly Monitoring Report. Monthly monitoring reports shall contain <br /> all monitoring data required as described above for domestic and industrial wastewater. <br /> B. Quarterly Monitoring Reports <br /> Quarterly Monitoring Reports shall be submitted to the Regional Board by the 1"day of <br /> February, May, August, and November. The Quarterly Report shall include the results of all <br /> regular monthly monitoring data generated and the results of groundwater and surface water <br /> monitoring performed. At a minimum, the report shall contain: <br /> 1. A narrative description of all preparatory, monitoring, sampling, and analytical testing <br /> activities. The narrative shall be sufficiently detailed to verify compliance with the WDRs, <br /> this MRP, and the Standard Provisions and Reporting Requirements. The narrative shall be <br />
