The plan was prepared
in response to Regional Water Board correspondence dated 17 April 2000 requesting that the City of
Escalon improve the groundwater monitoring network at the City owned wastewater treatment plant.
After reviewing the workplan, I have one comment:
1) Please provide a table that summarizes the following sample collection infonnation:
— A description of the size and type of sample containers.
— Identification of any preservatives that will be used, including ice.
— A statement of whether samples will be filtered or not.
— A list of the holding times for each analysis method.
The workplan is approved on the condition that the above comments are addressed in an addendum letter
to be submitted prior to performing the sample event.
