2.0 SAMPLING STRATEGY AND APPROACH <br /> The field investigation will consist of the following activities: <br /> • Determining the locations of existing buried utility lines; <br /> • Drilling, soil sampling, and installation of SVE and groundwater monitoring wells; <br /> • Groundwater monitoring well development and sampling; <br /> • Temporary surface piping, and SVE remediation system equipment installations for <br /> SVE pilot testing; <br /> • Conducting SVE Pilot Test. Temporary surface piping, and SVE remediation system <br /> equipment installations for SVE pilot testing. <br /> 3.0 SAMPLING METHODS AND PROCEDURES <br /> This section describes the methods and procedures that will be used to collect soil and <br /> groundwater samples during the subsurface investigation. Sample containers, volumes, <br /> preservatives,and holding times are presented in Table 1 of the QAP(Appendix 3). Copies of Daily <br /> Field Records, Soil Boring Logs, Monitoring Well Logs to be used are attached at the end of this <br /> Appendix. <br /> 3.1 Permits and Access Agreements <br /> Investigation activities for this project will be conducted on both LNC and Ackel Property. <br /> Access agreements have been obtained from the Ackel Property.
