ONSITE Environmental Laboratories Inc Revision 0 <br /> ' Quality Assurance Plan February 15, 1996 <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> ' 5.0 FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT <br /> ONSITE owns and operates a fleet of mobile laboratories Each mobile laboratory is designed, <br /> ' configured and equipped to provide the requested analysts in the field Reconfiguratton of a <br /> mobile laboratory to meet a client's specific needs is easily done due to modular instruments <br /> and the initial design of the mobile laboratories A listing of the analytical equipment currently <br /> ' in use by ONSITE is found in Appendix C <br /> 5 1 Safety <br /> ' 5 1 1 ONSITE mobile laboratories are designed to provide safe and clean working <br /> environments The laboratories are well lit, well ventilated, and have ample <br /> bench space All exhausts from instruments and ovens are vented outside <br /> ' Climate control is maintained with air conditioners in each mobile unit, thus <br /> allowing instruments to perform in the range of temperatures recommended by <br /> manufacturers Each lab is equipped with a fume hood which is calibrated at <br /> least annually <br /> 5 1 2 Volatile and corrosive chetrucals are stored according to OSHA regulations and <br /> separated from samples <br /> 5 1 3 Fire extinguishers, available in each lab, are inspected on an annual basis <br /> ' S 1 4 Appropriate occupational health and safety warnings are posted <br /> 5 2 Security <br /> Access to the mobile laboratory and storage areas are restricted to ONSITE staff <br /> ' During sampling and analysis events, the doors of the mobile laboratory remain open <br /> only when ONSITE staff are on site During off hours, the laboratory doors are <br /> locked to provide security for the staff, samples and equipment <br /> Word 6 0 loeisee5 doe <br />
