Section 2 Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation <br /> 2.3 HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br /> 2.3.1 PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT <br /> Risk of exposure to hazardous chemical or biological agents is minimal. Although the exposure <br /> risk is small, the work crew shall avoid skin contact with the soils and splash with fluid from <br /> borings or completed monitoring wells. The practice of good personal hygiene by crew is <br /> warranted and will further reduce the exposure risk. Soil samples will be <br /> collected from the boring as a"continuous core", where site conditions permit, and logged <br /> according to the Unified Soil Classification System.
