Utilities SITE CODE: 231241 <br /> Royal Oaks & Princess <br /> Stockton, CA 95209 <br /> San Joaquin County_ inblic Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) is providing you notification that on May 20 , <br /> 19941 an "Underground Storage Tank 'unauthorized Release <br /> (Leak) /Contaminated Site Report" was filed pursuant to Section <br /> 25180 . 7 of the Healt_ and Safety Code for the above referenced <br /> site . <br /> PHS/EHD staff present at the time that the 1500 gallon underground <br /> storage tank (UST) was removed on May 20, 1994, noted gross <br /> contamination. TheYe was a concrete slab beneath the UST that <br /> could not be broken cr dug up and other barriers were present that <br /> interfered with collection of appropriate soil samples . In <br /> addition, there was water in the excavation that had a sheen on it . <br /> The one soil sample c_at was collected was saturated. <br /> PHS/EHD has been faxed results of the soil sample analysis and do <br /> not feel they represent the contamination existing at the site . <br /> Further investigation and remediation of the contamination at this <br /> site is required.
