Use good common sense. <br /> ' NOTE; All protection gear should be left onsite during lunch <br /> break, etc. , following decontamination procedures. <br /> Protection gear, whether or not contaminated , should <br /> not be worn in public. <br /> e <br /> <' 11. 1 . 2 Minimum Decontamination <br /> Less extensive procedures for decontamination can be subsequently <br /> f1 or initially established when the type and degree of contamination <br /> becomes known or the potential for transfer is judged to be minimal . <br /> These procedures generally involve one or two washdawns only. The <br /> layout for a minimal decontamination operation is shown in the <br /> attached diagram. <br /> 10. 1 . 3 Closure of the Personnel Decontamination Station <br /> All disposable clothing and plastic sheeting used during the opera- <br /> tion should be double-bagged and either contained onsite or removed <br /> to an approved offsite disposal facility. <br /> e Decon and rinse- solutions should be discarded onsite or removed <br /> to an approved disposal facility. <br /> z1 <br /> Reuseable rubber clothing should be dried and prepared for future <br /> use. ( If gross contamination has occurred , additional decontamin- <br /> ation of these items may be required. ) <br /> r <br /> Cloth items should be bagged and removed from the site for final <br /> r' cleaning. <br /> All washtubs, pail containers, etc. should be thoroughly washed, <br /> rinsed, and dried prior to removal from the site. <br /> 10. 1.4 Vehicles <br /> ' 1 . Rinse all vehicles which have entered the active site. <br /> 2. Vacuum vehicles thoroughly daily, or more frequently if <br /> needed. <br /> i <br /> 10. 1.5 Equipment <br /> ' 1 .
