Summary of Violations
(CLASS I,CLASSS 11, or MINOR—Notice to Comply)
Item#
103
CCR 66262.40(c)Failed to retain hazardous waste determination Including analysis on site for 3 years.
Sand blast analytical results from California Ag&Environmental Services(8/3/2017)showing a result of 2600 mg/kg for barium,
140 mg/kg for chromium,340 mg/kg for copper,64 mg/kg for lead and 1100 mg/kg for nickel. No STLC results were found for
barium, chromium, copper, lead and nickel. No TCLP results were found for barium or chromium.
Response
1.Envifo-Chem did not provided full analytical results to B&C Painting Solutions, this was an accidental oversight. After I
explained about missing documentation Enviro-Chem Immediately forwarded the missing pages. Because this was my first
time using Enviro-Chem I was not familiar with their documentation for sand blast media.
2.Upon contacting KleenBlast for a scheduled pickup(About once every year)They provide B&C Painting Solutions with a 5
yard bin that has a sealable top cover, dropped off on a Friday.Saturday we come in,open the side door of bin and remove
the top.We then empty the stored 55 gallon steel drums containing the sand into the bin. We reuse the emptied 55 gallon
steel drums. We lock down the side door and reseal the top cover.KleenBlast recovers the bin Monday mornings.
