Former MEL BOKIDES PETROLEUM- LINDEN =" 8203 East Highway 26, Stockton, California Dear Ms. Lagorio: At your request by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department letter 05 September 2002, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.(AGE) has prepared the procedures for the six-inch diameter domestic well destruction at 8203 East Highway 26, Stockton, California. The details removal method are to follow with SJCEHD Standards For FFell Consirucrion and Desir action,the well abandonment will follow the procedures listed in Section 6.3. The well has been sounded to a depth of 160 feet bsg. The well shall first have a total of ten, shot-line explosive placed with in the well casing The explosive will be placed at the bottom of the well-, at ten-foot intervals below the water table, and at twenty-foot spacing above the water table. Explosives will not be placed above thirty feet bsg, for a safety and subsidence reasons. `0 .3 a� ��( l /0att ?� Xd The casing will then be filled from the base upwards with approved three_ ack sand grout. AGE acknowledges that to meet the California Well Standards well grout mix specification,approximately five to six-gallons water will be joined to one-94 pound pordand cement sack be volume. The site setting is illustrated in Figure 1. Structures and well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 Work will be performed by Water Well Technology Inc. of Sacramento and Clark Well of Stockton. All work will be drilling-rig-based. The well base will be demolished and the well casing backfilled to grade with concrete.
