The tank last held a flammable condensate and may also be toxic. The
tank's physical location is Lat 38.156353, Long -121.381338, and the HMBP address, reported in CERS, is 5300
Woodbridge Rd. The tank system
consists of a 520 gallon single-walled steel tank and some connected piping. As this site is still an active
facility, there will be a minor update to the HMBP for the removal of the tank.
Any remaining product within the tank and any generated waste/debris will be packaged, transported by a
licensed hazardous waste transporter and disposed of as hazardous waste. PG&E will obtain a provisional
90-Day EPA ID number to allow disposal of generated hazardous wastes. The emptied tank will be cleaned of
residues, purged of vapor, inerted using dry ice and tank openings sealed prior to transport. All ancillary tank
equipment materials and equipment will be packaged in DOT-approved drums.
Documentation as to the disposition of emptied tanks, bills of lading for scrap metal and manifests for
shipments of hazardous wastes shall be submitted to San Joaquin Environmental Health Dept upon request.
1 certify under penalty of law that the contents of the tank system noted above is a flammable mixture of
pipeline condensate and is to the best of my knowledge and belief, true, accurate, and complete. 1 am aware
that there are significant penalties for submitting false information, including the possibility of fine and
imprisonment for knowing violations.
Ralph Roberts
Pacific Gas& Electric Company
Environmental Management—GT Facilities
209-944-1450(0)
209-323-9492 (c)
rprb@pge.com
