File No.20-3978-01.W13 ■ KLEINFELDER
January 22, 1997
The soil borings will be closed in accordance with the protocol described in Attachment
B. Soil cuttings generated while drilling will be placed on and covered by visqueen and
stored on site pending chemical analysis. Water generated during steam cleaning of
auger and/or equipment will be left on site in labeled 55-gallon drums. Analysis and
disposal of drill cutting and steam cleaning water is not included in this proposal
Laboratory Analysis
Each of the soil and water samples selected for quantitative analysis will be submitted
under chain-of-custody control to Sequoia Analytical (Sequoia) of Sacramento,
California. Sequoia is certified by the California Department of Toxic Substances
Control to perform the requested analyses.
One soil sample from each boring location will be submitted for analysis. The samples
will be selected based upon field observations, qualitative field screening results, and the
depth in the boring. It is anticipated that samples will be analyzed on a normal laboratory
turnaround schedule, which usually requires up to 10 working days for receipt of
analytical data.
The samples will be analyzed for :
Sampling Locations and Proposed Analysis
No. of
No. of Samples
Description Location Borings.
