The sampling was recommended due to the results of our review of plans for the Manteca Spreckels <br /> Plant recently provided to us by Spreckels Development Company and the results of the Phase 1 ESA Kleinfelder <br /> conducted at the site(20-3978-0I.P01 dated October 18, 1996). The scope of work is described in Attachment A, <br /> with Kleinfelder field protocols as Attachment B. The cost estimate is included as Attachment C. The work <br /> requisition authorizing us to proceed is presented as Attachment D. We can begin work as soon as we receive <br /> both signed work requisitions. We will return a fully executed copy to you. Please note that this work can not be <br /> completed by the Februarv_25 /997 deadline However recommendations for this work were not included in our <br /> Phase/Environmental Site Assessment Report <br /> We appreciate the opportunity to provide our services to you.
