Monthly reports indicate that
effluent TDS levels continue to be discharged to Aeration Stabilization Ponds #1 and #2 below
the discharge limits set forth in Waste Discharge Requirements No. 5-01-148. However,
groundwater beneath the site continues to be impacted by past and current discharges to
land. TDS levels in the semi-perched and intermediate aquifers continue to be reported above
the established water quality objectives in violation of Waste Discharge Requirements No.
5-01-148.
The Discharger performed corrective action at the site during June through August 2007.
Approximately 135 acre-feet of South San Joaquin Irrigation District water were applied to the
East Percolation Field. Effects of the corrective action will be evaluated in the 4th
Quarter/Annual Report. Please review the attached Monitoring and Reporting Checklist.
If you have any question please call me at (916) 464-4737.
Todd A.
