CORE Core & Main <br /> 1830 Craig Park Court <br /> St. Louis, MO 63146 <br /> January 14, 2020 <br /> Ms. Claudia Muro <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> 1868 East Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Dear Ms. Muro, <br /> This letter is provided in response to your December 17, 2019, inspection of our facility located at <br /> 1615 S. Stockton Street, Lodi, CA. <br /> Based on the inspection report provided, two violations were noted. Please review our response to <br /> each violation below. Supporting documentation of each correction is included in the pages that <br /> follow. <br /> Item#101 - CCR 66262.12: Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br /> • OBSERVATION: This business does not have an active hazardous waste ID number in the <br /> California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)database. <br /> • RESPONSE: <br /> o The current, active ID number for the facility at 1615 S. Stockton Street is CAL000441487. <br /> o This ID number has been active since 12/4/2018. <br /> o The HMBP was updated in CERS to reflect the correct ID number on 12/19/2019. <br /> o The updated Business Activities section of the HMBP is included in Exhibit A. <br /> o Our third-party waste hauler is in the process of issuing manifest corrections for all manifests from 2018 <br /> -present. <br /> o In accordance with regulations and company policy, our location management completed refresher <br /> training on the requirement to review manifest accuracy prior to signing. <br /> Item#302- CCR 66262.34(d)(2): Failed to maintain required emergency equipment. <br /> • OBSERVATION: The facility has equipment that needs to be maintained. In the front of the <br /> threading department there is one fire extinguisher that is pointing to "recharge." <br /> • RESPONSE: <br /> o The fire extinguisher in question was promptly scheduled for service. <br /> o Service was completed on 12/20/2019. <br /> o A photo of the updated service tag on the extinguisher is included in Exhibit B. <br /> It is our understanding that no further action is required at this time.
