The following Uniform Building Cooe and San Joaquin <br /> Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to <br /> the Building Inspection Division: <br /> 1 . Exterior walls less than 20 ' from a property line shall <br /> be of one-hour , fire-resistive construction, existing <br /> and proposed. <br /> 2 . Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access <br /> requirements ( C . A. C. , Title 24 ) . <br /> b. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following : <br /> 1 . Parking shall be provided for the physically <br /> handicapped . The space(s ) shall be located as close as <br /> possible to the primary entrance. <br /> 2 . Identification signs for the parking space( s ) , <br /> including the "tow away" sign, shall be provided at <br /> each entrance or be visible from each space . <br /> 3 . The slope of the parking space(s ) shall not exceed 1 /4 <br /> inch per foot. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> a. An Improvement Plan , prepared by a Registered Civil <br /> Engineer, showing drainage , driveway access details , on-site <br /> parking , existing and proposed utility services , and <br /> grading , shall be submitted to the Department of Public <br /> Works for approval . <br /> b. Encroachment permit shall be required for work within road <br /> right—of—way . <br />
