UNIVERSAL WASTE EMPTY <br /> AEROSOL CANSI. <br /> ibm <br /> o An aerosol can is deemed empty when any <br /> of the following occurs, <br /> • (i) the can is as empty as possible, using <br /> IEPPpf <br /> standard practices. Do not puncture the <br /> cans. <br /> • (ii) The spray mechanism no longer operates as <br /> designed. i.e., no material disperses from the <br /> can when the valve is pressed. <br /> • (iii) The propellant is spent when there is no <br /> more material in the can. If any of these occur, <br /> the cans can be placed in Physical Plant's metal <br /> bin #2309. <br /> • (iiii) Remove the spray valves before placing the <br /> aerosol cans into the bin. <br /> -- I <br />
