EMERGENCY PROCEDURES <br /> Chemical spill or leak: <br /> Determine if you can safely clean the spill <br /> o Small spill and low hazard = ok to clean <br /> o Large spill and/or high hazard = EVACUATE! <br /> Contain the spill if safe to do so <br /> o Clean up small liquid spills using absorbent pads or <br /> paper towels <br /> o Place cleaning materials in a Ziploc bag and dispose as <br /> hazardous waste (with a hazardous waste label) <br /> Call Public Safety for larger spills (>1 gal) or high <br /> hazard materials <br />
