ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY 5044.5.001.01 <br /> Stewart Tracts 31 and 32 March 2,2006 <br /> WORK PLAN FOR GROUNDWATER STUDY Page 2 <br /> All water samples will be collected as follows. <br /> • Non-filtered groundwater samples will be collected using %-inch-diameter flexible tubing <br /> inserted into a peristaltic pump for each location and decanted into pre-cleaned analyte specific <br /> laboratory sample containers. <br /> • Filtered groundwater samples will be collected using clean %-inch-diameter flexible tubing <br /> inserted into a peristaltic pump. The collected water sample will be passed through a <br /> 0.45-micron filter in the field into pre-cleaned analyte specific laboratory sample containers. <br /> • All samples will be placed in an ice-chilled cooler and transported under documented <br /> chain-of-custody to an accredited analytical laboratory. <br /> At least 48 hours prior to pushing the Hydropunches, we will mark the site for an Underground <br /> Service Alert (USA) utilities check.
