Ms.Lydia Baker <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> #10 Violation: 501, CCR 66262.340 <br /> Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks <br /> Observation: The hazardous waste tank storing used oil does not have complete <br /> labeling. The accumulation start date was missing on the label. <br /> Response: <br /> The used oil tank has been labeled with the words "hazardous waste" and with the <br /> accumulation start date. Included in this response is a photo of the complete label <br /> placed on the used oil tank. <br /> #11 Violation: 605, CCR 66262.340 <br /> Failure to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Observation:Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete <br /> labeling. The containers were: Two SS gallon drums of used oil filters were <br /> observed by the filter crusher without hazardous waste labels, ten black metal SS <br /> gallon drums that were identified as containing used filters were observed in the <br /> hazardous waste storage shed without hazardous waste labels, one blue plastic SS <br /> gallon drum of used absorbent was observed on the fuel island labeled as spill <br /> response kit. <br /> Response: <br /> Hazardous waste labels were placed on the used filters drum located by the filter <br /> crusher. The 10 drums found in the shed were picked up by Safety Kleen. RFS is <br /> working with the facility to obtain Safety Kleen's service documents. The <br /> documents will be provided to you upon receipt.
