A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division <br /> prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth <br /> material: <br /> (1) A grading plan shall contain the information listed <br /> in the U.B.C. , Appendix, Chapter 70, Section <br /> 7006 (l) . <br /> (2) The grading plan shall include complete drainage <br /> details and elevations of the adjacent parcels. <br /> Retaining wall details shall be submitted where <br /> applicable. <br /> (3) Grading in excess of 5, 000 cubic yards shall comply <br /> with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading <br /> Requirements. " <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be <br /> incorporated in the grading plans. <br /> (5) All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a <br /> foundation inspection. <br /> (6) All grading permits are subject to approval by the <br /> other departments. <br /> (7) All grading authorized by the permit shall be <br /> approved prior to issuance of any building permits <br /> or beginning of any construction. <br /> Note: This application requires a discretionary <br /> approval, e.g. , Tentative Map, Site Approval, Use Permit. <br /> Therefore, a grading permit will not be issued until this <br /> approval is obtained. <br /> C. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> (1) Provide parking for the physically handicapped. <br /> The space(s) shall be located as close as possible <br /> to the primary entrance. (C.C.R. , Title 24) <br /> (2) Provide identification signs for the parking <br /> space(s) including the "tow away" sign at each <br /> entrance or visible from each space.
