SA-89-27 <br /> OF BARNEY F. FARR (C/O ROY COLLINS ) <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> Recommendation : <br /> 1 . The project area shall be paved with two and one-half ( 2-1 /2 ) <br /> inches of asphaltic concrete over six ( 6 ) inches of rock base . <br /> 2 . No storage , parking, or maneuvering is allowed on the area <br /> designated as undeveloped. <br /> 3 . A ten ( 10 ) foot wide planter is required along the frontage of <br /> Newton Road. <br /> 4 . Landscaping adequate to screen the view of the storage area <br /> from the road is required. <br /> 5 . a. Details of a landscaping and irrigation plan shall be <br /> shown on the Improvement Plan. As an alternative, three <br /> ( 3 ) copies of a separate landscape and irrigation plan <br /> shall be submitted to the Director . In either case, <br /> landscape details shall include a key showing size, type, <br /> number, and spacing of all proposed plantings . Details <br /> of an automatic and timed sprinkler system shall be <br /> shown . All approved landscaping and sprinklers shall be <br /> in place prior to issuance of an occupancy permit. <br /> b. The planter adjacent to Newton Road shall contain shrub- <br /> bery or mounding not to exceed three ( 3 ) feet in height. <br /> Trees must be trimmed the first six ( 6 ) feet in height to <br /> allow for sight distance . <br /> C. Planter areas shall contain shrubs and/or living ground <br /> cover: concrete , asphalt, and any surface materials <br /> including rocks or bark are not acceptable. <br /> CTM: vj <br />
