REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Quarterly reports will be prepared presenting the findings from the SVE remediation activities.The <br /> quarterly reports will include a description of work performed and the results of the influent and <br /> effluent air-flow vapor samples and analysis. Conclusions and recommendations will also be <br /> included in the reports, if applicable. The report will be in a format acceptable to RWQCB <br /> guidelines, and will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist. <br /> 3.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> The proposed location of the SVE unit will be near the northwest corner of the on-site building <br /> (Figure 2),which is behind security fencing and will allow the current tenants at the site to conduct <br /> their day to day business without interference from the operation of the remediation system. The <br /> SVE remediation system will be secured in an enclosure made with temporary chain-link fencing <br /> with gated access approximately 15 feet wide, 15 feet long and seven feet high. Electricity is <br /> available to the site;a pole and a dedicated electrical meter will be installed by representatives of PG <br /> & E that will connect directly to the SVE systems. <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Professional Geologist. Procedures for SVE installation, underground piping installation, start-up <br /> period and operation procedures are described below. <br /> 3.1. PERMITTING <br /> An application for a site-specific permit will be submitted to the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution <br /> Control District(SJVAPCD)prior to initiation of the remediation project.In addition,proper permits <br /> will be obtained from the San Joaquin County Public Works Department for all necessary <br /> construction work, including natural gas and electrical source installations. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
