-T :*:] <br /> Z ITR=EP0016-W - Universal Waste Management <br /> Course Information Safety Education &Training <br /> Teaching Org.Contact Debra Kidd, Ext. 2-0587 <br /> Summary <br /> This course familiarizesall personnel who manage universal waste with proper universal waste management and emergency response procedures. <br /> Objectives <br /> At the conclusion of this course,the student will have the ability to: <br /> • Demonstrate an understanding of the potential hazards associated with the universal waste that personnel may manage at the facility. <br /> • Demonstrate an understanding of the proper disposition of universal waste managed at the facility. <br /> • Demonstrate an understanding of the proper procedures for responding to releases of universal waste and the means of contacting those personnel at the facility who are designated to respond to reports of releases at the facility. <br /> • Demonstrate an understanding of the requirements regarding labeling,collecting,handling,consolidating,and shipping universal waste at the facility. <br /> Required For Personnel who manage universal waste such as, individuals who consolidate,sort,treat, recycle, package for transport,offer for transport,or physically relocate containers of universal waste(including batteries, <br /> electric lamps,electronic devices,cathode ray tubes,etc.)including their work supervisor. <br /> Required By Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)§66273.36 Personnel Training <br /> Repeat Frequency 12 Months <br /> Refresher None <br /> Prerequisites None <br /> Alternates Course (Title <br /> RH5003-001W Resource Conservation and Recovery Act(RCRA)Facility Management <br /> RH5003-W Resource Conservation and Recovery Act(RCRA)Operations <br /> Duration 1 hr <br /> Instruction Type On-Line <br />
