Enclosed also is the Appendix to <br /> the report which is bound separately. This report documents and summarizes <br /> all the work performed at Southwest Hide since September 1986 concerning <br /> the ground water investigation. The report is part of the Cleanup and <br /> Abatment Order issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board on March 10, 1989. A copy of this order has been sent to the San <br /> Joaquin Local Health District by the Board. <br /> The Board reponded to the Site Characterization Report on April , 13, 1989 <br /> and requested additional information. This information was supplied to <br /> the Board on May 15, 1989 and a copy of this response, entitled "Requested <br /> Information to Supplement the Southwest Hide Company Site Characterization <br /> Report Submitted April 1989" is also enclosed. This document is attached <br /> to a cover letter addressed to Mr. John Tomko, of the Board and is dated <br /> May 15, 1989. <br /> Moldenhauer Engineering Company is currently proceeding on behalf of <br /> Southwest Hide Company to schedule subcontractors to perform the various <br /> tasks listed in the work plan of Section 9.0 of the Site Characterization <br /> Report and the work plan in the supplement to the Site Characterization <br /> Report. All this work is an extension of earlier work started in August, <br /> 1989 and is being coordinated through the Board.
