Quality Assurance and Ouality Control Procedures <br /> QA/QC measures will be performed for each method of analysis with specificity for each analyte <br /> listed in the test method's QA/QC. QA/QC measures will include the following: <br /> • One method blank for every ten samples, batch of samples or type of matrix, whichever is more <br /> frequent. <br /> • One sample analyzed in duplicate for every ten samples, batch of samples or type of matrix, <br /> whichever is more frequent. <br /> • One spiked sample for every ten samples, batch of samples or type of matrix, whichever is more <br /> frequent,with the spike made at ten times the detection limit or at the analyte level. <br /> • One equipment blank for every chain of custody obtained by pouring deionized water over the <br /> sampling device and into a laboratory container. <br /> Report Preparation <br /> A Site Investigation Report will be prepared to present the findings and conclusions of the <br /> investigation. The report will include but not be limited to the following: <br /> - Investigative Summary <br /> - Project Description <br /> - Investigative Methods <br /> - Investigative Results and Field Observations <br /> - Data Evaluation and Discussion <br /> - Conclusions and Recommendations <br /> - At Caltrans discretion, submit a Remedial Action Options Report providing general <br /> discussion regarding applicable soil remedial alternatives and cost analysis <br /> - Appendices including boring logs, permits, geophysical and laboratory reports, and chain- <br /> of-custody documentation <br /> - Vicinity Map and Site Plan depicting boring locations <br /> Caltrans will be provided with one copy of the draft report. Upon receipt and incorporation of <br /> Caltrans comments, Geocon will provide five copies of the finalized Site Investigation Report. <br /> Project Schedule <br /> The following project schedule will be adhered to weather permitting: <br /> Task Completion Date <br /> Field Work May 13, 2003 <br /> Draft Report June 19, 2003 <br /> Final Report June 30,2003 <br /> Project No.S8475-06-70 -4- April 30,2003 <br />
