1_2 BackEround <br /> State Route 132 (SR-132) is scheduled for widening by adding two additional eastbound lanes from <br /> the San Joaquin River Bridge to the SR-132/33 Interchange. The area of investigation (Site) was <br /> formerly operated as a service station and dispensed fuel from an aboveground fuel storage tank. The <br /> Site is not on file with the Regional Water Quality Control Board or the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department. <br /> 1_3 Project Objectives <br /> The primary objective of the proposed scope of services is to determine if hydrocarbons and/or Title <br /> 22 metals impacted soil is present within the area of the former service station. <br /> 1_4 Planned Scope of Services <br /> • Geophysical Survey <br /> • Drilling(Direct-Push) <br /> • Soil sampling(Direct-Push) <br /> 1_5 Schedule <br /> Anticipated Period of Performance: May 13, 2003 <br /> Anticipated Weather/Temperature: Clear to cloudy, mild conditions. 500 to 70°F <br /> Project No.S8475-06-70 -2- April 25,2003 <br />
