FIELD PROCEDURES
All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California
Registered Geologist Procedures for the soil sampling, well Installation, well development, ground
water sampling, equipment decontammatnon and sample analyses are outlined below
3 1 SOIL BORING ADVANCEMENT
Soil borings will be advanced using a truck-mounted drill ng equipped with 8-Inch and 10-Inch
diameter hollow stem augers Borings will be advanced to a vertical depth of approximately 65 feet
bsg Subsequent bonngs, If required, may be advanced to appropriate depths based upon field
screening and data from previous borings Installed at the site
32 SOIL SAMPLING PROCEDURES
Soil samples well be collected using a California split-spoon sampler loaded with three 2-Inch by 6-
inch brass sleeves The sampler will be driven by dropping a 140-pound harnmer from a height of
30 Inches The number of blows required to advance the sampler over 6-inch Increments will be
recorded on the boring log Upon removal from the sampler, the ends of the lead sample sleeve will
Advanaud GreEnvuenwcaml,Inc
