� i • . 25 August 1999 AGE-NC Project No 97-0343 Page 2 of 2 WELL SURVEY The depth to ground water is estimated to be approximately 40 feet bsg with a southerly flow direction, based upon data collected in June 1999 from monitoring wells located approximately 800 feet south of the subject property A preliminary survey was conducted to identify wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the former UST location A total of eleven domestic/agricultural wells were identified within the search radius Several sites with ground water monitoring wells were also identified No municipal wells were identified within the search radius The nearest down-gradient wells were identified at a residence located at approximately 1450 North Broadway Avenue, approximately 1,200 feet south of the subject property An active domestic well and what appeared to be an inactive agricultural well were visually identified on the property Two domestic wells are located at 1290 Shaw Avenue, approximately 1,300 feet south of the subject property One of these wells was reported to be 247 feet deep The nearest cross-gradient to up- gradient well identified is located at 1856 North Broadway Avenue, approximately 900 feet west of the subject property The subject property and surrounding businesses receive water from California Water Service A description of the well survey procedures and findings will be described in the report with the monitoring well installations for the subject property A current boring permit and a site specific health and safety plan are currently on-file for the subject site Upon approval of the Work Plan, we will schedule field operations if you have any questions or comments, please contact our office at (209) 467-1006 Sincerely, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
