i
o y
06 July 2004
. AGE-NC Project No 97-0343
I4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the data collected from the site, AGE finds
• At the time of the November 2003 sampling event, the depth to ground water in well MW-8
was 60 14 feet below the well head, the ground water elevation for well MW-8 was 32 08
feet below mean sea level (MSL} Depth measurements were not possible an wells MW-1
through MW-7 because these wells had no measurable water Additionally, these wells could
not be purged or sampled Consequently, average ground water elevation, gradient and flow
direction could not be determined at the site this quarter
• TPH-g, TPH-d,BTEX and fuel additives were not detected at or above laboratory reporting
limits in the ground water sample collected from well MW-8
• The historically hydrocarbon-impacted wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 were not purged or
sampled during the November 2003 monitoring event due to no measurable water in these
I wells
• The lateral extent of the hydrocarbons-impacted ground water has been defined
o The vertical extent of hydrocarbons-impacted ground water has been defined
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends
continued quarterly monitoring of the on-site ground water monitoring wells The next monitonng
event was performed in March 2004
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions
at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from a limited number of available data
I points(e g ,ground water samples)and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points
No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional interpretations, opinions and
recommendations contained in this report
IAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
