INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Lenz of Innovative Beverage Brokers, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, <br /> California The site and the surrounding area are Illustrated in Figure 1 Structures,boring and well <br />' locations are Illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is provided In Appendix A <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines Issued by San Joaquin County <br />' Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the sampling of ground water monitoring wells and <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites The monitoring well installation was performed according <br />' to the AGE-prepared Additional Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan, dated 20 September 2002 <br /> and approved by EHD letter dated 11 November 2002 <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br /> One ground water monitoring well (MW-8)was installed on 31 July 2003, developed on 05 August <br /> 2003 and surveyed on 26 September 2003 <br /> 2 2 1 Drillingand Sampling <br /> p g <br /> The pilot boring MW8 was advanced using a CME-75HT drill ng,equipped with 8 25-inch diameter <br /> hollow-stem augers The drill rig and two-man crew were supplied by Mitchell Drilling <br />' Environmental Auger returns generated by drilling and decontamination water were containerized <br /> in properly labeled Department of Transportation(DOT)-approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and <br /> stored on-site <br />' Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a California modified split-spoon sampler <br /> loaded with three pre-cleaned 2-Inch by 6-inch brass sleeves The samples were collected from <br /> monitoring well pilot boring MW8 at ten-foot intervals, beginning at 10 feet below surface grade <br /> (bsg) to 95 feet bsg using a 140-pound hammer to advance the sampler The number of blows <br /> required to advance the sampler over each 6-inch increment of the 18-inch sampling interval was <br /> recorded on the boring logs Sampling equipment was washed in an Alconox solution and double <br /> • rinsed with water prior to each sampling run to minimize cross-contamination <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
