The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for QUINTEROS AUTO REPAIR as of January30, 2020. <br /> Open violations from November 18, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation #101 -Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br /> OBSERVATION: This business does not have a hazardous waste ID number in the California Department of Toxic <br /> Substances Control (DTSC) database. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for <br /> transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) Identification <br /> (ID) Number. A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per <br /> month, less than one kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID <br /> numbers are unique to a business and site location. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https:Hdtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ <br /> to obtain a State ID number. Immediately apply for your ID number and submit evidence to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #505 - Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br /> OBSERVATION The 250 gallon hazardous waste tank storing used oil (1/2 full) had a hazardous waste label that <br /> was missing the accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste" and the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tank with the words "Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation <br /> start date.
