SAN J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> OL1",TEROS AUTO REPAIR 1555 REPORT AVE, STOCKTOhv <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS 11,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 5 CCR 66262.34(f)Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. <br /> Near the back shop: <br /> -One white 55 gallon poly drurn containing used antifreeze was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One white 35 gallon poly drum containing oily mop water had a hazardous waste label with the incorrect <br /> accumulation start date of December 2015 and the incorrect address of the generator. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste', name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state. composition <br /> (contents). accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by December 18. 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152). To schedule an <br /> appointment, please call (209)468-3420. <br /> Waste streams found: used oil. oily mop water, used antifreeze. absorbent, used oil filters <br /> The facility does not normally generate used oil filter waste. Most used oil spills are mopped up and the waste <br /> (mop water) generated is placed into a white 35 gallon poly drum. The facility empties all drain pans/mop <br /> buckets at the end of the day.
