The State Water Resource Control <br /> Board (SWRCB) will invoice you directly for activities performed under the auspices of i <br /> the Local UST Oversight Program. The'goal of the,site evaluation performed by Public <br /> Health Services Environmental Health.: Division (PHS-EHD) is to certify closures of <br /> underground storage tank leakage sites pursuant to California Code of Regulations, <br /> Division 3, Chapter 16, Article 11 (Corrective Action Regulations). These regulations <br /> govern the investigation and mitigation!activities at leaking underground storage tank <br /> sites. To obtain a copy, please contact the SWRCB at (916) 657-2390. Closure <br /> certification occurs only after mitigation activities are completed. <br /> PHS-EHD has been contacted by the, SWRCB regarding your application to the k <br /> Cleanup Fund Program. In order to meet eligibility requirements for corrective action <br /> r compliance, corrective action needs to be initiated at this site in response to a directive i <br /> letter from this agency. To establish corrective action compliance at this site, this letter <br /> will serve as the directive letter to you to'begin your investigation. <br /> 4 <br /> .i The soil samples collected in 1987 from'beneath the underground storage tank formerly <br /> located at this site show petroleum hydrocarbon contamination. The full extent of this <br /> soil contamination still needs to be determined.
